Connecting Meta Ads

The Meta connection is made per project, through Facebook Login for Business. You need an editing role on the project (Owner or Admin).

Steps

1. Open the project → Settings → Meta → Connect Meta account.
2. In the Facebook window, choose the business and the assets you give access to: the ad accounts and catalogs.
3. Back in Admetriva, choose the business, the ad account and, if you want, one or more catalogs.
4. Click Start Meta import.

The Meta import brings in only Meta data: campaigns, their daily results, placements, creatives and, if you chose a catalog, the products and their diagnostics. The Google history is not re-imported.

The catalog is optional

A project without a selected Meta catalog works normally for campaigns, results, placements and creatives. Only the Meta product data is missing, and Admetriva shows it as “Not configured”, not as an error.

Meta results

• Leads, purchases and other Meta results are shown separately. They are never added to Google conversions.
• Metrics that Meta does not report stay unknown, not zero.
• Meta can rewrite recent days as it finalizes its attribution. That is why recent days are re-imported.

Catalog history

Meta only provides the current state of the catalog. The history of Meta products in Admetriva starts from the first sync and cannot be rebuilt for the period before it.

Disconnecting and deleting data

• Disconnect: the access token is revoked and deleted, the Meta sync stops, and the data already imported stays.
• Disconnect and delete Meta data: in addition, the project's Meta data is scheduled for deletion. Google and Merchant data, and the data of other projects, are not touched. This action asks for confirmation.

If you remove the Admetriva app directly from your Meta account settings, the connection stops automatically.
