Reports, PDFs and public links

How to generate a PDF report, how to schedule reports and how to send a client a live public link, with the sections you choose.

On this page

The project's Reports page brings together everything you deliver: templates and generation, generated reports, public links and schedules. The live page, the public link and the PDF for the same period are built from the same source, so they cannot say different things.

PDF reports

  1. You pick a template or create one: the title, the platforms (Google, Meta) and the sections, in the order you want.
  2. For each section you can choose the columns and their order, the sorting, the number of rows and a page break before it.
  3. You generate the report for the chosen period. Generation runs in the background; the report appears under “Generated reports”.

When it is generated, the report keeps its sections, options and data. A later regeneration reproduces the original document. The HTML preview of a template shows you the current layout using the data of the last generated report.

From Overview, Meta and Google Campaigns, the Create report button opens Reports with the page's period already filled in. The filters and columns of the analysis page are not carried over.

Automatic reports

In Schedules you set up reports that are generated periodically and sent by email. The download link in the email also works for recipients without an Admetriva account.

A public /r/... link shows your client a live report, without an account:

  1. In the Public links block, you enter a name and click Create link.
  2. You tick the sections or groups of sections. By default all of them are on, except “Insights and recommendations”, which is the consultant's material.
  3. You set the default period, whether the client can change it and, optionally, an expiry date and a PIN.
  4. You copy the link and send it.

What you need to know:

  • An unticked section never reaches the client: it is not just hidden on the page.
  • The data is recalculated when the link is opened, with a 5-minute cache, so that reloading is fast.
  • The link is not indexed by search engines.
  • A revoked or expired link, or one belonging to an archived project, shows the same “not found” page.
  • Revoking cannot be undone. The link may already be in someone's inbox; if you want access again, you create a new link.

Channels and creatives

The report can include the Google channels (Search, Shopping, YouTube, Demand Gen, Performance Max) and the Meta placements (Feed, Stories, Reels, Messenger, Audience Network), plus Google creatives and Meta ads, with preview and performance. Performance Max remains a channel of its own: Google does not provide a verifiable split of its budget across Search, Shopping or YouTube, so the report does not invent one.
