Changing your plan and payments

When a plan increase or decrease applies, how recurring payments work and what you can do until online payments open.

On this page

Your plan follows the number of active projects (see Plans, prices and limits). Changes follow the same rule whether you add projects or pick another plan: an increase is billed immediately, a decrease applies at renewal.

Online payments open soon

Online payments are not open yet, and the prices shown are launch prices, in preview. Until then, the Subscription and usage page shows your plan, costs and usage with the note “Preview: online payments are not active”, but nothing on it starts or completes a payment. If you want a plan activated now, write to us and we will activate it manually.

Your Billing details must be filled in before you choose a plan: without them we cannot issue the invoice.

More projects or a larger plan

An increase applies immediately. The difference for the rest of the current period is prorated and invoiced right away. The new plan, or the extra projects, become active as soon as the payment processor confirms the payment.

Fewer projects or a smaller plan

A decrease applies at the next renewal. Until then you keep everything you paid for, and nothing is refunded for the period already started. If you go back to what you already pay before the renewal, the scheduled decrease is dropped at no cost.

If the new plan allows fewer projects than you have, your projects stay saved and you choose which ones remain active. Archiving a project is explained in Archiving and reactivating projects.

Cancelling the subscription

A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, and you can withdraw it until then. The page shows the date the subscription ends. Nothing is deleted.

Recurring payments

The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, monthly or annual, with the saved payment method. On an annual subscription, extra projects are billed annually too. Issued invoices are listed under Invoices on the Subscription and usage page; payment methods and invoices are managed in the payment processor's portal, which you open from the same page.

If a payment fails, your access continues until the date shown on the page. Update your payment method before then to avoid an interruption.
